There is good seafood here! It's just not anywhere near my mouth! I don't live quite on the coast so it's a bit harder to find :P Maine is the real place for fresh seafood though...it's only a few hours' drive from here.

As a born southerner though, Grey is patently wrong. Y'all have crawfish, right?! Have you fed him crawfish? You absolutely cannot get them up here, it's a tragedy.

Also, IIRC New Orleans is one of the places you can get gator meat? I haven't tried it yet myself but I hear it's somewhere between chicken and seafood if you try to classify it, food-wise.
