Job creators who suck at creating jobs because the current economic conditions support them having a lot of power over others which they traditionally have enjoyed far too much to give up without a fight?
Not to mention how The ZOMG Economy, as it is set up now, basically can't even effin' function without the underpaid, frequently dangerous labor of undocumented immigrants, who are generally rewarded for doing vital jobs nobody else would ever take in a million years with terrible treatment for which (and precisely because) they have no legal recourse.
Also, if we hate immigration so much, why do we make it so redonk easy? It's because we pretend to hate it for the talkin'-box but actually, the country's fuck-off huge and there's a lot of room in the damned place and when people come here on nothing we can give them shit jobs for shit pay so we fuckin' LOVE IT.
Trust me I know. I'm going to have to jump through every legal hoop to stay here with Davy whether we're married or not. If living Stateside was a thing we desired though (HA), we could seriously go right now and there'd be zero issue. We'd just have to get married. Bam. Done. The end.
