Yeah I need new icons.
Anyways, COOKIES!
First, I did some snickerdoodles. Same recipe as usual, half in plain sugar, half in cinnamon sugar.
Aaand then I tried a new recipe! They're called 'Chocolate-Dipped Lacy Butter Cookies', I snagged the recipe from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
bakebakebake. But I didn't feel like dealing with the mess of melting chocolate and dipping them, so I decided to alter the recipe a bit...I added chocolate chips to the cookies themselves.
They came out really good! They're very thin, but not too crispy. Rather delicate. A few notes...
-The recipe doesn't seem to make very much dough. This is because the cookies will spread HUGE.
-As per first note, make the lumps really small. The big cookies will cook all the way through (being as they go pretty much flat) BUT when you go to eat them, they will be difficult to handle because they'll fall apart in your hands.
-If you decide to add chocolate chips, dust them in flour first (or not - but I'm a bit afraid of what would happen to them if you don't; they might way overcrisp, which would be just nasty, I think) and add right after combining everything into the final dough.
