He is :D haha if you tell him there's a squirrel while he's inside he'll go and run to look out a door or window. It's good that he chases them off though, they had seriously kind of taken over our yard...they used to climb across the outer screen of our windows o-o; now they stick to the trees, lol.

And yeah they are fascinating :D although also kind of creepy since because they roam around to hunt, they'll turn up pretty much anywhere at night, running at TOP SPEED. I mean like, the floor, on top of furniture, ON TOP OF ME, etc.
