tap tap tap

I was just thinking about posting this in next week's PE post, but then I remembered you guys like to hear about my closet beast, so might want to hear about it in the meantime?

Last night [personal profile] beasts_of_homeworld and I were skyping and watching Elementary together. Between episodes, I left them alone while I took a quick shower...when I came back, they asked if it was raining or if my keyboard was haunted xD

I knew what they were talking about right away...I've done EVPs in there (as well as other areas of the house) and every EVP I've recorded in there, I get these random 'tapping' noises. I've gotten them often enough to get some drawn-out ones such that you can hear that they're actually bursts of static. I haven't gotten them anywhere else in the house, and a lot of the time they seem to be in response to what I'm saying. My general assumption is that it's probably whatever it is in my closet; it's gotten very curious about me skyping before, and when I film in there and talk to the camera. So probably it just came to investigate the computer?

I guess it's also notable that I don't get the tapping noises on camera when I film in there (I've never done an EVP on camera, so not sure if that would make a difference) and I've skyped in there with [personal profile] beasts_of_homeworld plenty of times, and obviously this was the first time they heard anything like it; but it's also the first time I've left them alone like that for a significant amount of time.

It's also gotten into the habit of starting up my dad's computer in there in the middle of the night, which is a minor annoyance :P

That's kind of awesome, lol. I remember you mentioning the closet thing seeming interested in some technology things... it sounds really fascinating to me.
