Just wanted to let everyone know that I've made this post public - it's a collection of resources and references and so on for art. That I just kind of store on my LJ. I realized some of y'all watching me are artists too so might appreciate the links? So yeah. IT'S...THERE NOW...ENJOY.

Thank you! I have been clicking a bunch of these... looks like several of these links aren't working anymore. :C I'll try again later though and the ones I could access look pretty useful!

Awww :c kalfmsdal

I'll see if I can fix them, there's a few I haven't visited in awhile...hrmmm

ETA alright looks like the women's shoes, second perspective guide, dresses guide, making stamps, and sherlock wallpapers links are gone oAo I've taken them down, shall see about replacing them...especially the perspective one, it was a very helpful tip on finding the midpoint on the side of a box you've drawn. Actually, I could probably make a quick tut on it myself...hrmmm

I need all the perspective help I can get, I only ever draw characters from like one position/angle/perspective, my skillz will never get skillzier if I can't diversify a little lol! Was sad to lose the shoe/dress one too... so far my costuming skills consist largely of throwing a few lines down to denote where the tee shirt is sitting on the person hahahaha everyone just wears tight fitting tees because it's easier woops.

LOL I have the same problem alkmfsak

...it's been awhile since I've actually put clothes on any of my drawings I think dkmfalm THEY'RE ALL NAKED OKAY CAN'T I JUST DRAW NUDISTS IT'S MUCH EASIER

And if I do give them clothes it's just as you said, just a line showing where the sleeves and such are xD

Just tossed up some more links BTW, since I realized I had some +faved on dA that weren't up there...there's a few drawing cloth/wrinkles tutorials you'd probably like.

ETA: oh also I personally found the 'using photo references' guide I put up really, REALLY helpful. I mean it was sort of what I was doing already but it helped me figure out exactly how I should be looking for shapes etc.
