Was reminded of these recently. I did them a long time ago but I think it's about time I did them properly.

You can fill out my Johari and Nohari windows. A CHANCE TO TELL ME HOW TERRIBLE YOU THINK I AM? o u o

Skipping a class. Will feel terrible about life in like five minutes but for now I am fine. Here's some music!

(I have found this song makes Topher clean things??? Repeating experiment)

Okay so it is, uh, not Valentine's Day any more. Anywhere, I think. But I'm only a few hours late really.

This is for my valentine, [livejournal.com profile] anobjectinspace, but I have decided to leave the entry public so you can all admire how awesome he is and maybe say nice things about him if you would like to.

So here is my v-day gift, a drawing of Topher as Sherlock.

(Basically [livejournal.com profile] beasts_and_men and I both agree that he is the closest thing to Sherlock Holmes that we know of, the only difference being that he is a bit more well-rounded and doesn't hate people or women. And the BBC show is clearly the best version so.)

Also no dA link because I'm not uploading a larger version anywhere, although an original-size version will be arriving in dropbox for you, luv.

ALSO - Paige - Sees pic is up at the same post. Or will be in a few minutes, but I don't think you're awake right now, so.

[livejournal.com profile] outdatedclocks has pointed out that my lower-back/hip problems, and my leg problems, are probably all related to the issues I have with my feet (lack of arches?). I've been making do with CVS-brand arch support pads, but they're not really enough, and I'd like to be able to do some cardio and upper-body stuff again, which I can't really now since my back hurts alllll the time. I'd been putting off talking to my doctor about it because of my terrible experiences with my last one...even though this one's shown no indication she's suddenly going to go all 'you're lying, you must be sneaking nachos in the middle of the night, fatty' on me. In fact, she'll probably be happy to help me out, since she wants me exercising before I go on T since I have a genetic disposition towards hypertension (dad's been hospitalized for it).

BTW, for those curious about the whole doctor saga, since I've posted it around a few places but not actually here at my main journal I think (since I just realized last night [livejournal.com profile] ocelotofdoom had never read the whole thing)...I submitted the whole thing to First, Do No Harm (excellent blog BTW) so you can read it here (it's so long I don't see a need to copy+paste it here P:)

Speaking of [livejournal.com profile] ocelotofdoom, we might be hanging out this weekend :D or rather, probably are. I am still working out the logistics, I think I'll stay on campus this weekend and take the train into the city. It would mean missing a therapy appointment, but I've skipped weeks in the past (or rather, therapist has cancelled on me) so I know it won't do any damage emotionally or to my comfort level with him.

Okay I really should go to class 6 u 9;;

I have become absolutely fascinated with these little guys.

Everything lately is making me want to write fiction again. Science-fiction or something along the lines of modern fantasy. I still feel inadequate though. My narrative writing sucks, but I know that can be improved with hard work and practice. What I am less sure about is my...hmm...narrative intelligence?

Basically, I can't follow a complex plot (or even a mildly interesting one) to save my life. One of the reasons I like the new My Little Pony show is because it makes me feel clever because sometimes I can see plot twists coming. I had to watch A Tale of Two Sisters three or four times before I could really understand what was happening, let alone start thinking about the implications (and let's leave alone the fact that I saw the American remake first and thus already knew the twist and...was still surprised anyway). I enjoy Stephen King books that most people hate, like The Tommyknockers, mostly because the lack of discernible plot isn't something I notice; I can't tell the difference between that and something with a complex plot because they are equally confusing to me.

This doesn't really bother me; obviously I still enjoy reading, watching movies, etc. Usually I fall in love with a character or concept first, and then the plot on many subsequent viewings/readings. And each time I watch a movie is a new experience! Buuuut I'm not confident in my ability to write something with a plot. I know my creative strengths are in world-building and, to a lesser degree, character-building.

Maybe I'll just throw my ideas at [livejournal.com profile] anobjectinspace and make him write things. Hmmm. *strokes chin* 6 u 9

Speaking of which, going to go read more of his excellent writing. Oh, but here's a song first. A REALLY SAD SONG. It literally almost made me cry, which is difficult to do.

Been sewing all day, but unfortunately you guys will not get to see the results, at least not until after Christmas. Because I'm sure even if I specially filtered it [livejournal.com profile] anobjectinspace would find a way to peeeek 6 u 9

Also have major plans after this sewing project. Got introduced to these adorable things called bunka dolls. They're basically the doll version of lolita fashion, but not quite as varied. I love all things lolita, sooooo *scrambles after dolls* adljksjadsagdksalkjfagrea

I WILL MAKE SO MANY

Things to buy at Joanne's this weekend: terrycloth, stuffing, white or flesh-colored muslin or calico, some cute patterns for potential doll sewing (NOT ALL OF THOSE THINGS WERE DOLL-RELATED. who knows what terrycloth is? 9 u 6 KNOWING WILL NOT HELP YOU AT ALL)

It seems like I've been getting more pageviews, but less comments lately. Did I do something to scare you all away?! I LOVE YOU I PROMISE. I understand if you're just all shy though, I am a creepy silent lurker as well.

Yes, most of this entry was just to tease [livejournal.com profile] anobjectinspace about the gift I am making for him. That wasn't my original intention, but apparently that's what happened here. OH WELLLL

p.s. it is amazeballs

p.p.s. MUSIC: Miku-Tan does one of my fave songs from Mulan

Sometimes I feel like a cliche for liking this song. Then I remember I don't caaare 6 u 9

p.p.p.s. Considering making my own moodset from either X-Men Evo or MLP: FiM screenshots. Would that be obnoxious? I would probably make them small.

You all have [livejournal.com profile] anobjectinspace to thank for that, yes
