just using this icon because I forgot that I had it but actually it's kind of apt

Traded shifts with my coworker to come home early today because my leg was acting up so badly. Dad claims the doctor's office will be open tomorrow and he'll be able to schedule an appointment then. mdfkslm. Could barely sleep last night because of the pain, which is really distressing to me because it's a lot like back when I first hurt it, which seems like a really bad thing. But this was my last shift at work for the summer so...I'll be able to rest it now, until it gets looked at.


Also, I found the remake of The Lorax on-demand!...I don't know why I was still so convinced I would enjoy it, after all the terrible reviews. Probably because sometimes I love some really crap movies? I really liked The Village. And I've liked all the recent Dr. Seuss story-based movies up to this one. But god, this remake was just a pile of garbage. Augh. And it's even more terrible because it could have been great. I loved young Onceler. But they cut between him and the other kid and why did there have to be a love story in it at ALL and aarrgghgrhghr

His song was good, though. Like, the only good song in the movie, unfortunately. But I also liked his outfit. I kind of want to cosplay him.


Uhhhh...I haven't been talking about faeries and so much lately, I know. Mostly because I've been spending most of the time I wasn't working, sleeping and resting. So I have no idea what's going on out there...haven't been outside much. There was a rather hostile faerie outside the house the other day that seemed to be actively trying to scare me through the window, which did not go as it had hoped, I think. It was pretty ugly. Goblinish. I haven't seen one like it around here before. WASN'T THAT AN EXCITING STORY
