Netflix sometimes groups things in really weird manners. Right now my DVD version of netflix is presenting me 'The Human Centipede 2' right next to 'MLP: Friendship is Magic'
Which is on Netflix instawatch now
For anypony who's interested
But at least it's not as bad as the movie directory for our OnDemand, which I think is through Verizon? First of all, it doesn't have a list by genre for all the movies. You can get new releases and movies on sale listed by genre, but everything else is only available in alphabetical order.
In the movies on sale section, there is a Sci-Fi/Horror section. For almost half a year now, that section has contained ALL OF THE BARBIE FILMS. I am still not sure if this is the worst or best categorization of a set of films ever.
After I catch up with MLP I need something else to watch though. A show preferably. I have really specific tastes so if you could just throw out anything I could find on netflix that would be excellent
Or somebody get them to hurry up on getting Adventure Time on netflix so I can watch that, it looks really good
But yeah suggestions for shows I should watch. Shows I have really enjoyed include...The Office (US version), X-Men Evolution, MLP:FiM, and oldschool cartoon network stuff like Ed, Edd & Eddy. Also a lot of various animes.

Date: 2012-08-18 08:58 am (UTC)The only downside is, is that it has FIVE MILLION POP UPS FROM HELL (thankfully, none of them porn), but it updates frequently and I haven't been able to find a better place yet, since youtube yanks the episodes down pretty fast.

Date: 2012-08-18 01:08 pm (UTC)um the avengers: earth's mightiest heros is p lol, actually they have a shit ton of avengers cartoons. like 4 of them, probably of varying terrible quality but that's a marvel cartoon for you
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i like warehouse 13, it's a syfy show so lql but the premise is interesting and i like the stuff they collect. netflix just removed most of the stargate things ;~;
except stargate universe
i'd recommend that but it's like. exceptionally bad and overdramatic and omg. if you're watching it to lol at the dramatic space opera and count the ways they should all be dead and how dr. rush is an asshole this episode it's quality tv though. my most darling show :c i love it for the spoodge of backstory about the absent race of advanced aliens who left all their super advanced tech lying about for humans to play with before they ascended to a higher plane of existence (apparently to watch humans poke the advanced tech and go O_O and burn their faces off and shit worse parents ever seriously)
as u can see my netflix recommends scifi, 90s cartoons and murder mysteries. i can recommend a variety of british crime dramas as well but
they are british
and crime dramas
poirot & miss marple & inspector morse are just like idek
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Date: 2012-08-19 02:08 pm (UTC)warehouse 13 is really funny. watching syfy's shows is much less painful when you're not stopping every 5 minutes for commercials.
if they have invisible man or i-man or whatever the fuck they called it that was hilarious too. it only lasted two seasons bc the invisible special effect cost like a half million dollars to do at the time & they were all BUT IT'S SO COOL and kept using it.
also the dude who could go invisible like posed as a little girl's invisible friend one episode & he goes nuts when he doesn't get regular injections of invisible serum & he like beat the shit out of someone trying to kill her and was all 'im ur worst nightmare & her bff u asshole' and it was just the most overdramatic sci-fi scene ever filmed.
oh and bigfoot can go invisible and kidnaps him bc his invisible gland is a lady bigfoot gland. science

I have no idea about what's on Netflix and what's not, so I'll leave the suggestion-making to actual Netflix-users c:

Date: 2012-08-19 02:04 am (UTC)Yeah xD IIRC it was actually 'new released recommended for you' which...yeah, alright. I guess that's more weirdness on my part than on netflix's part. xD
