Implicit Biases

Ever heard of an Implicit Association Test? As a psych geek, they get me all excited. They're a kind of test that can measure your implicit biases (as opposed to explicit). In other words, they measure biases you may not even know you have.

You can take a whole load of them right the fuck here if you'd like. I DID.

I have a strong implicit preference for Black people over white people and a slight implicit preference for Herman Cain over Rick Santorum.

I have a slight automatic preference for Disabled Persons compared to Abled Persons.

I slightly prefer Judaism over Christianity and Islam, and prefer Hinduism slightly less than Christianity and Islam (which I prefer equally).

I have a strong automatic preference for Thin People compared to Fat People.

I have a moderate association of Native Am. with Foreign and White Am. with American compared to White Am. with Foreign and Native Am. with American.
