May. 28th, 2013 01:07 amNow I'm reading some of the threads on backyardchickens.com that have nothing to do with chickens (because I am looking for a way to get my post count up...there's like nothing I can talk about? WE DON'T HAVE CHICKENS YET) and I found a recipes etc. forum and omg
I'll be honest, locavore talk makes me really, really hungry. Fresh local food omg nafdskl yummmmmm
and there's this thread on what people are canning right now and mfkds
which of you will can food for me, because I definitely do not have the patience to do it myself. I will 'help' much in the same way cats help, mostly by wandering through the kitchen and making comments and tasting everything (and adding cinnamon to everything when you're not looking). Does this sound appealing to you y/y
No canning the chicken meat though, that just weirds me out. Chicken broth is OK to can, but the chicken we are vacuum-sealing and freezing. I am willing to try pickled eggs, though. They sound like they could be tasty.
(Also, I know some of you are also locavore-ish, I found a helpful website that is also making me hungry o u o)
