Silence for like two weeks and then two posts in one day. LOL.

Just some stuff that's been happening lately that I haven't reported on:

For a week or so, stuff around me was...moving. The first incident was with a game disc; I'm incredibly anal about always placing discs down (DVDs, CDs, games, etc.) with the shiny side up; I yell at my family for not doing it (and for holding them wrong). So of course I put this one down shiny-side up as usual, and look away for about a minute, then look back...it's the other way around. I was sitting less than a few inches away from it, so was both startled and annoyed. Another incident was at school; I dropped a water bottle (lol clumsy) between the desk and my bed, which is like, a foot-and-a-half square of exposed floor, with a fan and a trash can tucked into it. I heard the water bottle land on its side (I have dropped enough to know the difference in sound...CLUMSY) and saw it rolling back and forth. I just left it, because on top of being clumsy I am critically lazy. When I went to pick it up the next day...it was standing upright. These things have stopped now, though.

Also, despite having a roommate in the room now, I continue to hear the sound of things moving around at night. Last night it was disturbingly close to my head, and actually sounded like it was the fan that was moving. :C It happened about three times, over the course of ten or twenty seconds. Before that there were some other sounds, further towards the closet. So the sounds were like...fucking...creeping up on me. IDK I am not really liking this, guys.

There is also the fact that I haven't been checking myself for hangers-on of the energy being sort lately, because I've just been...too tired so I know they're probably there but I'm ignoring them, and I know some night soon I'm going to see one standing by my bed and freak the fuck out AS ALWAYS because I'm dumb but guys, they look really creepy, okay? And they like to stand there and just stare at me. Asadsfdssafsafsfffff. That reminds me though that I eventually want to tell the full story of my experience with my childhood 'imaginary friend', which I've mentioned before in [livejournal.com profile] ontdcreepy. And I just realized a lot of that is just going to sound like incoherent rambling because...I haven't even started talking about reiki yet but it makes me feel shy to talk about. :C NOW I'M REALLY RAMBLING, TIME TO WRAP THIS SHIT UP.

One last thing though. Speaking of my roommate...so...I've finally noticed her habit of bringing back her lunches from the school dining halls and...wrapping them in cling wrap and just leaving them on her desk. I'm talking like, half a sandwich and a full serving of fries. Just on her desk. And she'll like, pick at it like a snack. Over the course of like two days. First of all, that explains why the room smells weird. Second of all, how the fuck is she not sick yet? o-o I would be throwing up from the taste of room-temperature, stale french fries alone...

CREEPY! What do these things look like??

They all look really different, and a lot of them look like...something you would see in a horror movie I guess, although some don't. Earlier this year there was one that looked like a minotaur.

I believe that a LOT of creatures from movies come from real things. Whether everyone can see them or not, ya know?

Yeah, I agree. Most of them aren't just made up out of thin air anyways, they're based on old stories and legends and such, and a lot of those things are bound to be rooted in some sort of reality.

LOL. No no that's perfect just leave him, high school students totally deserve to be haunted IMO.

But Fred is such an asshole I feel bad for doing that to the band kids. :(
He's visible though idk if I really wanna try.

Oh right, the band kids D: although I think our band could have handled pretty much anything short of a demon.

Tell me what he looked like, though, so curious now.

Auburn hair, weird leather straightjackt thing, drawstring pants in a dark color and no shoes.
I knew it was him when three different people described his pants. O_o

Basically I've got a crazy ghost with poltergeist potential who's only weakness is a fondness for dolls. Idek

Duuude. What kind of asshole things does he do?

Well, in ~mischievous~ cute things he is fond of moving and stealing objects but he can physically hurt people and he is capable of speech and likes to talk and is a manipulative bastard. Like I kicked someone down a set of stairs when I was five on his advice because it would totally be fun.

Ok maybe not ghost idk what he is. Other than bad news.
But he does like dolls. To snap off their left hands.

TBH he sounds like

Okay this is going to sound weird and I am going out on a limb a bit

But he sounds like a young human-looking faerie. Although I don't have any experience with them nor do I know anybody who does so I'm just basing that on old cautionary tales and such. But the fact that he dresses like a weirdo (and no shoes) and that he manipulates people and steals things. And that people can see him. It seems most likely to me.

Being as the only other thing I can think of is like, insanely strong and intelligent ghost.

That would explain the deference that the other fae show me, y? He's been around as long as I remember.

O_O
I really shouldn't leave a fae in my high school...

Omg he wanted me to meet him in the woods in June that is about the most terrible idea ever yes?

Date: 2011-03-02 04:46 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] poto-heart.livejournal.com
Yeah that might explain it. And dude IDEK how you would get him out of the school, though. All of the stories I've read involve contracts or tricking them out, and I don't even know if American faeries play by the same rules, because the closest we've come to interacting with them is naming them 'forest devils' and like, staying away from them. And then cutting down all of their trees.

And yeah that sounds to me like a really really terrible idea. I would definitely not go anywhere in the woods with a faerie that clever even if they liked me.

He really likes dolls. I have a couple porceline dolls left, he is pretty fond of the one, I can get it to act as a focus and draw him towards me. I think that's how I took him to college tbh. We've got plenty of woods and a garden & stuff, he'd stick around.

June at solstice at noon for the past five years. I really don't go for walks in the woods on June 21.

It sounds like he's trying to take you home with him. It would probably be a good idea to make it really clear that you enjoy living right where you are.

It's both worrying and very interesting because I didn't even really think we had humanlike faeries in America. I've never run across any tales or stories to suggest it, and I've never seen any, but I do live in MA, and we have all new growth trees here, so maybe they all died or migrated or something when the farmers cleared out all the trees.

It's a good thing I didn't, a couple years ago I was going to go but got scared. :/

I'm in Pennsylvania and we've got a lot of old growth mixed with newer growth. And by newer I mean 90 years old. But I'm also less than twenty miles from a giant stretch of untouched virgin forest and he's proven to be quite adept at moving around.

Also I don't like not having old trees. And by not like I mean every time I've ever tried to not have old trees I've attempted suicide. I mean some of that is bipolar disorder but it all lines up to moving to places with new growth or urban areas.

Yeah, I actually remembered you're in Pennsylvania and was all 'of course' because IIRC Pennsylvania has the most virgin forest and old growth in all of the northern states, except for maybe upstate New York; and people are known to see really weird things in Pennsylvania forests, like most of the modern thunderbird reports in the US are from Penn. And I've also heard a lot of reports of what's probably faerie activity, specifically what seems like defending their territory, from Pennsylvania (especially things like hikers getting disoriented, losing time, or waking up somewhere other than where they bedded down; and motorists being set back several miles on a road suddenly).

And that's interesting. I would honestly consider the possibility that you might be a changeling, or maybe just a very faerie-like person. I'm not really sure what that would entail, though, it's just an idea.

Omg thunderbirds scare me. D: But yeah, PA is full of weird.

Could be, some guy tried to run off with me at the hospital. Like for real. Actually people attempting to get me to go with them is pretty common.

I love thunderbirds. I actually seriously considered going to school in Pennsylvania mostly so I could look for thunderbirds. In retrospect that was dumb LOL, but I ended up at a school inside the Bridgewater Triangle which is really just as good :D apparently there are supposed to be thunderbirds here AND BIGFOOTS but it's such a tiny area I really don't know how that would be possible lol.

Dude that's weird. Everybody wants you apparently, humans AND faeries. Maybe you're just especially awesome in some way.

Well someone has to like them, it's just not gonna be me omg the stories on how they turn into humans give me nightmares.

Yeah, it's kind of weird. I'm irresistable. The one dude actually attempted the lost puppy story, I was so disappointed in him.

I'm the same way about selkies. A lot of people think they're cool but I'm like A SEAL THAT TURNS INTO A PERSON? NO. THANK. YOU. I'm not even really sure why, I don't hate seals or anything, but ughhhh.

People really used the lost puppy story? Every kid knows that one. And the candy one.

Ooo yes that is very pretty :D all of our trees around here are thin and scraggly lol. Except in the state forests, but even those are only about a century old at the outside.
