Brain Surge
Jun. 20th, 2011 02:40 pmDerek just came home from school and informed me he had a 'brain surge', by which he apparently means a premonition. About what he will do this summer. He drew it out but hasn't shown it to me yet.
He also placebo'd himself some 'natural Adderall'.
And had an intervention for his friend who is hanging out with potheads too often. He has also gotten the impression that marijuana is the worst drug ever. IDEK where he got that, probably just because he hangs out with such straight-laced kids the only drug he actually knows of is MJ...? Or the kids really just aren't sneaking harder drugs into school anymore.
Okay, he just showed me his plans for the summer from his 'brain surge'. They include digging a tunnel under the street to Julie's house (down the street). I gently told him that if he tried that, he would probably die.
I know what most likely happened is part of his frontal lobe just matured and he suddenly has the ability to project into the future. He seems very serious about this brain surge thing, though.
In other news, Tripper put his entire tongue in my mouth today ;n; not surprising really though since I annoy him to initiate Scary Face, so he did the same to me when he wanted to play :P it was incredibly gross though.
