Feeling a fair bit better now, I think. My throat hurts and I'm still a bit out of it, but I can actually breath now. (And hold my breath again! It's interesting how often during the day you need to hold your breath for a few minutes. I had to breath while eating.) Still having occasional coughing fits, but they seem to be more about my throat than about my chest being full of crap. I'll probably go shower again in a little bit to be sure. So sick of showers.


Also, I'm relieved to have finally gotten my paypal account sorted out. A quick warning to any of you thinking of using paypal's 'bill me later' service...you can only pay that off by linking your bank account to your paypal (which is a bit of a process if, like me, you have executive functioning problems; I only got it done so quickly because my bank happened to conveniently send me a form letter about some fee changes that also included my most recent debits and credits, which was what I needed.) Also, it will be auto-selected as your preferred payment method forever and ever after, and you'll have to keep manually changing it to a credit card, although now that I've linked my bank, that also shows up under payment methods. But I have to click to a whole different screen to select my credit card. It's all just a tad skeevy.


Are any of y'all frequent ebay users? Do you know the etiquette for shipping out a product? I won my new copy of Photoshop Elements 10 on the first (early in the morning)...it doesn't seem to have shipped yet. I know it's only been about two days, but I'm kind of used to them shipping immediately...

It might just be that it feels longer than usual since I've been sick...idk. Is this normal? How long should I wait before politely contacting them to ask if/when they're going to ship it to me? Estimated delivery is between the 7th and the 11th.


ETA: I've noticed even LJ notifs take way longer these days than dreamwidth notifications are doing. LJ, r u ok?
