Wooo finally!

potato_headFinished the bats! Yes for reals this time! I was planning to start on+finish the Ditto pillow plush as well, but my Friday class got canceled so I'm driving home tomorrow instead of hanging out and sewing. I might still start it, IDK, I haven't decided yet.
Anyway yeah expect bat pictures sometime tomorrow or Friday? Probably tomorrow.
Oh yeah, there was an incident Monday.
In my communications class on Monday the teacher showed a clip from an old game show. I don't remember what it was called? But the basic idea was there was a panel of judges, and three people all claiming to be the same person, but two were (obviously) lying. The judges had to vote who was lying and who wasn't.
First of all, the person in question was one of those 'shy guy'/Nice Guy assholes - you know, 'wah 'alpha males' get all the women, I am entitled to also sleep with a woman, they're all bitches' etc. He had even written a book on the subject! Including such stellar topics as 'the eleven types of women to avoid'. Which the judges then asked two of the contestants about. One of them said one of his eleven types of women to avoid was..."hermaphrodites".
Yeah.
It didn't come up just once, it became the running joke for the judges' banter. They were obviously using it as a catch-all term for anybody that didn't have socially-conforming anatomy for their gender. IDK, I just wasn't expecting ten minutes of 'jokes' like 'how do you tell a hermaphrodite if they're in a skirt?'
I was considering emailing the teacher about it, since the last time I did that it went over well. But then I realized that just thinking about doing so was stressing me the fuck out and I was feeling obligated to do so, so I didn't. I feel rather better about the situation so I might talk to her today after class. Or I might just leave it. What-the-fuck ever. Why is it always teachers I like that do this?
