The news is covering the pope vote thingy again. I don't know what it's called, I honestly don't care, all I can think is 'we're doing this whole pope thing again? So soon?!'

And yes, I do know why. I just reeally don't care. I'm a terrible Catholic, in that I am not really a Catholic at all, just 'raised' Catholic.*

I don't understand why the news thinks we need an update once an hour though. NO NEW POPE YET!

Okay, I'll stop whining about the news 6 u 9 and go pick out some photos of Tripper frollicking in the snow for u guys.



*P.S. Oh and I venerate Mary and the saints, although I don't put a lot of work into it or anything, but apparently that's a Catholic thing. But I consider myself non-denominational and I not only don't go to church, I have a strong dislike for church services.

Hey I'm not even remotely Catholic, in fact I'm not religious. But I still think Mary is pretty cool and St Francis is like, my bro. Buddha too. I guess I'm into mostly quiet peaceful spiritual inspiration? So yeah I don't think you need to ZOMG *BE* CATHOLIC AND LOVE ALL THINGS ABOUT CATHOLICISM to take something away from it. I feel like I learn a lot spiritually from my studies of religion even as I've never found anything that hits me in such a way I'd actually want to convert into it.

Regarding the new Pope... eh, considering how much the last one sucked, I don't even think it matters who they get this time around.

I can't even follow the pope stuff. I vaguely know it's happening, but can't muster the energy to seriously pay attention to what's going on. I kind of feel bad for not caring more, even though I'm not Catholic. I realize it's important to a lot of people, and that should matter to me.
