BAKING PLANS

For this weekend? and maybe next weekend. There is a wedding or some nonsense I have to attend on Saturday. Not sure if we bring food, if so will bake for that.

Anyways these things:

-more things dipped in chocolate. Okay this is not really baking but I am still SO EXCITED about the little double-boiler dad bought at Joanne's on my suggestion. I love when I mention something that would be good to have and he wanders off an hour later and finds it because he agrees. We did strawberries and pretzels and bananas in chocolate, this weekend goal is EVERYTHING ELSE EVER

-that brownie recipe from um...legrotesque I THINK THAT IS RIGHT will check later. the guy from ontdcreepy. also because I now have double-boiler. He never gave me the full recipe but I think I can totally figure it out from what he told me.

-INSPIRED BY ocelotofdoom: a sugar cookie-cake (cake-cookie? GIANT COOKIE) with sugar icing on top, then sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. THIS WILL BE THE BEST THING. maybe a touch of lemon in the cookiecake. Or perhaps a separate one with a touch of lemon.

I think we are probably not expected to bring anything to the wedding. Our family does catered weddings usually. That means don't bring food, right? :C

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FEED THEM IF THEY BUY FOOD FOR THEMSELVES

But it's alright, these are basically test batches for the loads of food I will bring to Thanksgiving Dinner. LOADING EVERYBODY UP

Omfg wait a second what about like, a pumpkin spice cookie-cake with icing+the cinnamon sugar?!

That's right, right? I am like 90% sure cinnamon goes in 'pumpkin spice' things. It's part of the 'spice' right? With some other gingerbready stuff like nutmeg and cloves?

...Is there molasses? Is it basically just gingerbread with pumpkin?! IS THERE EVEN PUMPKIN INVOLVED

MAYBE I WILL JUST MAKE A GINGERBREAD COOKIE CAKE

And I do know it is silly to ask you these things when I can just like look this up

But like...that's boring

CLASSES

SO had my first two classes today!

Am now rather a lot more excited for this semester. First, I forgot I had Macro Economics with DR BAKKALLLLLL HE IS MY FAVORITE PERSON EVERRRR

I had him for microec a few semesters ago and he's the other professor who offered me an opportunity (wanted to sponsor me to go study abroad in a prestigious university in Canada) but the International Student Affairs office gave me the run-around and the next semester I had the China thing come up so. Anyways he was excited to see me again as well :D

As for my other class, it's Psychology of Learning. And my professor competes in agility with her dogs!! And she has structured the class around using this as a teaching tool!!!! WE ARE GOING ON A FIELD TRIP TO ONE OF HER AGILITY TRIALS

OUR ONLY READING FOR THE COURSE IS KAREN PRYOR'S DON'T SHOOT THE DOG

6 u 9 I am so excited about this class that it makes me nervous (lol this happens sometimes)

Anyways in other news ummmm...am a bit miserable because a second storm is riding in on top of this one, so I can't enjoy the nice rainy weather because the pressure is making my head explode.

Roommate is introducing me to this band called Camelot though, they're metal-with-a-pretty-tune like Sonata Arctica, I liek.
