Mar. 8th, 2013 10:00 amHoly shit u guys, snow!
So yesterday I stepped outside and pretty much immediately saw we were in for a big storm...I actually texted dad something to the effect of 'it's snowing, WTF?' because I was too lazy to convey 'we are about to get about a foot of snow, why isn't class cancelled?'
Well, by the time I finished with my first class of the day, the rest of the day had been cancelled. The thing is, next week is spring break, and apparently Bridgewater was completely unprepared for this storm. So getting out was a nightmare (there was over an inch of slush with a dusting of snow on the ground, and 2+ inches of snow on top of my car) since half the campus was trying to leave when I was and the other half was waiting to find out if we had school today. I ended up having to park in the lot across the street from the 15-minute spot that's actually near to my dorm. At the very end of the lot. Which was a long walk by the time I was ready to leave, despite it being a fairly small lot.
Things were fairly alright once I got the other side of Boston, things didn't really start up here until this morning - we woke up to almost a foot of snow outside, Tripper is thrilled :P I already have some pictures of him investigating the deck. It's still snowing, dad's convinced it's going to stop in an hour or two, I'm...not. But we'll be alright, just dumped snow on again. Hope everyone else around here is doing well as well.
