So remember when I said I wasn't even sure if we would be able to keep chickens in our town if we decided to stay here

dakfire hunted down the relevant stuff, which was much easier to find than I expected I guess if she was able to find it (NOTHING AGAINST HER SHE IS JUST...NOT...GOOD WITH GOOGLE) which I guess is not surprising because, again, we do live down the street from a field of cattle.

So it turns out you have to send in an application, but if approved, you can keep...cattle, sheep, llamas/alpacas, goats, pigs, horses/ponies, donkeys/mules, chicken, turkeys, and...rabbits (livestock rabbits I assume, otherwise we had an illegal rabbit for awhile...).

It doesn't say anything about ducks though D:

I'm surprised there is no mention one way or the other of duckies! Strange.

I should think if you could have a turkey, you could have a duck. The former is a lot more bother as far as neighbors are concerned, they're noisy!

Yeah, I'm guessing you just don't need permits for ducks, because they're quiet birds. All we actually have to go off is the permit, I've been trying to find a list of permit-only and completely banned animals (I want to find out if I can keep a couple of crows/ravens as well) but I can't find anything but the permit O.o

How much space would pygmy goats need? Paige is all into them now and I think she likes the idea of staying here, too. But when I was calculating for that I was just thinking chickens and ducks.
