So remember when I said I wasn't even sure if we would be able to keep chickens in our town if we decided to stay here

[profile] dakfire hunted down the relevant stuff, which was much easier to find than I expected I guess if she was able to find it (NOTHING AGAINST HER SHE IS JUST...NOT...GOOD WITH GOOGLE) which I guess is not surprising because, again, we do live down the street from a field of cattle.

So it turns out you have to send in an application, but if approved, you can keep...cattle, sheep, llamas/alpacas, goats, pigs, horses/ponies, donkeys/mules, chicken, turkeys, and...rabbits (livestock rabbits I assume, otherwise we had an illegal rabbit for awhile...).

It doesn't say anything about ducks though D:

I'm surprised there is no mention one way or the other of duckies! Strange.

I should think if you could have a turkey, you could have a duck. The former is a lot more bother as far as neighbors are concerned, they're noisy!
