Colors and Shapes

srztanjur and I had a shared dream the other night so I figured I'd make a post about our forays into telepathy.

Right before the tree incident we made some attempts at deliberate telepathy (iirc it was because we were sharing dreams then, too). It was somewhat successful, we were able to identify shapes of animals; but it was also really exhausting for me, and because of that we didn't try again...and then the incident happened and I didn't want to try again at all.

Then sometime last year I was telling him about a run-in I had with one of the faeries around here and he said he had a clear picture of it in his head (I hadn't given him a physical description of it at all); he described exactly what I had seen.

So we decided to try again. This time we started with numbers; no success. So we backed up and tried colors instead - 100% success rate so far with colors, including when I sent him an iridescent blue/purple, although he saw it as two separate colors, blue and purple. We haven't tried shapes again yet.

Haven't had time this weekend to sew because I was getting my new computer set up, but I've found some plushes that I never showed you guys, that I made over the summer. I'll probably get some photos of those and make a post tomorrow-ish :D

That is so neat. I wish I could connect mentally like that. I bet if you guys fine-tuned it, it would be AMAZING.

Since I'm pretty new to your journal, may I ask who Corey is exactly? I've heard him mentioned but I don't know his relation. :P

I think so too :D so we're going to keep practicing. It can be really exhausting though.

LOL I don't think I've ever really explained. He's my life partner/best friend. We've known each other for like...8 years now?
