BAKING SUCCESS. Today I did the experimental less-butter batch of brownies and the puppy chow. THEN I TOOK PHOTOS :D
Nutella Brownies
These came out AWESOME. Accordingly, here is my version of the recipe (please note I took most of the recipe, including quite a bit of unedited text; much kudos to the original recipe writer and translator).
Ingredients
*I hear it also turns out fine with regular white sugar, but have not tried it myself
**You can also use salted butter, but don't add the 1/4 teaspoon salt in that case
Directions
So yeah these were delicious and even though I finished them at freaking midnight and it is now 1:44 AM as I am writing, there is a single brownie left. One single brownie. And NO I did not eat them all, I only had two. Paige had one, and then Derek and a friend he has over came downstairs and cleared out like TWO ROWS and then Dad woke up and ate three and now there is only one.
Oh, btw, the main things I changed from the original recipe were to remove butter - by using parchment paper to line all the sides, rather than buttering two of the sides, and removing one tbsp of butter from the actual mix (dough? I feel like brownie in its larval form is too wet to be called dough). I also added uh, like a spoonful of nutella, because the one cup called for in the original recipe is only a bit less than a jar, and more=better of course. Anyways, the result DOES leave a bit of butter on the bottom of the pan, but no puddles of butter on your plate! Yay!
OK photos now!

Before cutting. (I used a fork instead of a toothpick to check that it was done...can you tell? 6 u 9)

After cutting.

SHORTLY BEFORE NOMMING.
Puppy Chow
MOST DELICIOUS THING EVER OH MY GOD I stopped in the middle of writing up the brownie section to go eat a bit of puppy chow. I used this recipe, the only change I made was using 8 cups of cereal instead of 9 and even then I had a bit of a hard time getting the chocolate to cover all of the cereal. If you're patient and someone who prefers less coating on your cereal then the whole 9 cups would probably be fine. I am neither of those things, lmfao. Also, I would recommend using a small saucepan (probably your smallest) to do the chocolate, pre-measuring the cereal into a large mixing bowl, and pouring the chocolate/peanut butter over the cereal while you mix it.
And if you've never melted chocolate before don't worry it is actually very easy! Just make sure to KEEP IT ON THE LOWEST SETTING and STIR THE WHOLE TIME, FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, I PROMISE IT IS ALREADY MELTING AT THE BOTTOM.
OK PHOTOS GO

In a bowl! Very exciting.

HEY LOOK, MY FINGERS!
BRB resisting eating more puppy chow.
