Okay sooo usually Amanda is the one editing my creepypastas before they go up on Half Deer, but the thing is, she didn't "get" this one the first time she read through it; so I've made some edits to it, but now that she understands what the scare is since I told her (lol), she can't tell if other people will get it.

I feel like that paragraph was really confusing HERE JUST READ THE CREEPYPASTA FOR ME OK it's really really short.

WARNING for the potentially offensive use of the word "crazy" and some similar terms ("old bat" etc).

My Gramma Mary was always kind of a strange old bat. She said weird things, sometimes.

Oh, like…well, one time she said to me, like, it’s easy to get into people’s houses. You don’t even have to break in through the door, she said. You can just come and go as you please, through the mirrors.

I know, right? She was kind of crazy, I think. She had a whole spell and everything.

Well, I guess it wasn’t really a spell…she just said what you need is somebody who lives in the house to chant your name in front of a mirror three times in the dark. And then you can get into the house forever.

I guess she meant you can get in even after they move out. She was really caught up on that ‘forever’ bit. Maybe she meant you could keep on getting in after you died, too, she was weird like that, always talking about ghosts.

Anyways, it’s crazy, right? How would you get somebody to do that, anyway? Yeah, Gramma Mary was pretty strange, alright.


If you do read it - please don't feel the need to edit my terrible prose - just tell me whether or not you think you got the point of the pasta.

Hehehe, I got it!

In other ghosty news, I have been having so much fun with the ghost radar on my cellaphone oh my god. it keeps giving me eerily relevant words and I know the odds of my blackberry having the type of sensors needed to pick up on ghosty shit is like 0 to -0 or something but it's kind of addictive. and apparently there's an app for android phones (BOOURNS!) that lets you "hunt" ghost/ghostly activities and snapshot them with the phone's camera as a sort of ghost-hunting game. HRRRRR DO WANT.

I loooove ghost radar. I'm so sad that I can't get it on my windows 7 phone, it's not available yet ;n; and dad switched out his phone for a windows 7 phone too, so he doesn't have it any more. He pretends not to be extremely interested in the paranormal, but I found out he was leaving it running all the time especially while in his office/my bedroom xD

Oooooo that app sounds awesome. Ffff I kind of wish I had gotten an Android phone now, they have all the best apps ;n; but my phone has microsoft office on it!...not that I've used it yet!...o n o;

I didn't get it until Docbrite's comment, but it's still a cool little story. I think if you want to make it seem like that, you could add a bit in the middle about "some people turns around in circles while they say your name," and you can use that to add in Gramma Mary's name a third time. The story does stand pretty nicely as is, though.
